The 2025-26 Annual Report from United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County showcases a transformative year of bold action and deep community investment. Driven by a mission to uplift lives and tackle systemic challenges, United Way directly impacted over 93,000 individuals through powerful initiatives across four pillars: Healthy Community, Community Resiliency, Youth Opportunities, and Financial Stability. From delivering over 875,377 meals and 54,000+ therapy sessions to distributing 36,704 books and securing 607children with a safe place to sleep, the organization mobilized resources with precision and compassion. Standout initiatives like the West Port Arthur Community Garden, United We Work, Early Literacy campaigns, and the innovative SETXvolunteers.org platform amplified support for families, youth, and underserved neighborhoods.
